With over 40 years of experience in the investment industry, Nick began his career as an Investment Advisor at a bank-owned brokerage firm. Graduating from Wilfrid Laurier University with a degree in Economics and Accounting, Nick has helped guide his clients through a number of market cycles.

Nick's experience of the markets and fiscal prudence guide the Barbu Wealth Management's investment strategies and tax-efficient solutions. Along with working with clients to ensure comprehensive financial planning, Nick also helps clients transition and maximize the value of their businesses at the time of sale. Nick looks after the wealth management needs of individuals, families and businesses across Canada and Internationally.

Vanessa is a CFA Charterholder and a graduate from the Honours Bachelor of Business Administration program from Wilfrid Laurier University with a concentration in finance.

She is instrumental to the Barbu Wealth Management's portfolio construction process, monitoring wealth management strategies and meeting with clients regularly for portfolio reviews.

Frequently attending various portfolio management conferences throughout the year, Vanessa keeps up-to-date with the latest industry standards and spectrum of wealth management solutions. She currently has over 12 years of experience in the private wealth management industry.
